BPD Chief William Gross Sworn in to Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company

Yesterday, Monday, August 7, 2017,  Boston Police Superintendent-in-Chief William Gross was sworn into the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company in Boston, the oldest active chartered military organization in the Western Hemisphere. He was sponsored into the organization by BPD Sergeant Samil Silta from District B-2 (Roxbury), and Mayor Martin Walsh made a special appearance to be in attendance as the Chief was sworn in.
