BPD Community Alert: Boston Police Seeking the Public’s Help in Identifying Person of Interest Relative to Series of B&Es in South Boston

Boston Police detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a person of interest--shown in the accompanying video--in a series of breaking and entering and attempted B&E incidents in the South Boston neighborhood over the past two nights. Two incidents occurred between the hours of 1:00 AM and 6:30 AM on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in the areas of Gates Street and Frederick Street, and three incidents occurred between the same time frame on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in the areas of Mercer Street, Old Harbor Street, and East Seventh Street. In all incidents, the suspect(s) entered or attempted to enter residences through open windows.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents. The release of this video is for identification purposes only, and the person depicted is NOT wanted at this time.
