At about 2:03 PM on Thursday, January 11, 2018, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of Columbia Road and Washington Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located a male victim in his early 20’s suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Officers located a second male victim in his early 20’s who had fled the scene suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. That victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
