At about 4:00 AM on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, officers from District A-15 (Charlestown) responded to a radio call for a breaking and entering in progress in the area of Old Ironsides Way. Upon arrival, officers were informed that the female victim had been sleeping in her apartment when she was indecently assaulted by an intruder who had broken into the residence. The victim screamed and awoke the other household members, and the suspect fled out of the front door.
The suspect was described as a black male approximately 25 to 30 years old, 5’5” to 5’8” in height, and wearing gray sweatpants with a distinct dark gray rear pocket.
