BPD Photo of the Day: Chief and Deputy Stop by Local Hospital to Offer Support to Brave Young Sickle Cell Patient Before Surgery

Earlier today, on Thursday, January 25, 2018, Chief William Gross and Deputy Dennis White stopped by Boston Children’s Hospital to offer the support and well wishes from the men and women of the BPD to 6-year-old Cornelius Rivers Jr. of Dorchester who is scheduled for surgery in relation to his ongoing battle against sickle cell (hematology and encology). The Rivers family has asked that we share this photograph so that they may receive as many prayers as possible for their young son. We ask you to join with us as we wish this brave young man and his family the very best as they move forward. Good luck, Cornelius - our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.
