At about 1:49pm on Saturday, February 3, 2018, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to an outside scene for a person shot in the area of 3 Trull Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located a male victim, believed to be in his twenties, suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim has since been identified as John Colon, 20, of Dorchester.
