Daily Dose of Great Police Work: BPD Fugitive Unit Arrests Suspect in Rhode Island Relative to Ongoing Drug Investigation

 

Today, Wednesday, March 28, 2018, after a lengthy investigation, members of the Boston Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit with the assistance of the US Marshals HIDTA Task Force and the US Marshals Rhode Island Fugitive Task Force located and arrested 30-year-old Hector Bannister of Boston in the area of 453 Central Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

Bannister was wanted on an active and outstanding arrest warrant out of Boston Municipal Court for Trafficking Cocaine (18 grams or more), Possession with Intent to Distribute Class C Drugs, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs (Cocaine) (2nd and subsequent offense).

Bannister is also being charged with being a Fugitive from Justice in RI and awaiting rendition back to Boston. He will be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
