Community Alert: BPD Release Images of Suspect Wanted in Connection to a Stolen Safe Taken during the B&E of a Motor Vehicle at 274 Tremont Street

Detectives from District A-1 (Downtown) are releasing images and seeking the public’s help in an effort to identify an individual wanted in connection to the B&E of a motor vehicle inside a parking garage at 274 Tremont Street. At about 12:17am on Monday, April 16, 2018, officers from District A-1 (Downtown) responded to 274 Tremont Street (Tufts Medical Center Parking Garage) to speak to a victim who stated that her car had been broken into and a safe removed from her vehicle. According to the victim, the safe contained an undisclosed amount of US Currency and assorted jewelry. During the course of the crime, the suspect, believed to be a white male, is seen wearing what appears to be a gray hoodie, dark colored coat and blue jeans.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information relative to the suspect’s identity or whereabouts is asked to call detectives at (617) 343-4248.
