One Less Gun: Two Suspects in Custody After BPD Officers Recover Two Loaded Firearms within Three Hours During Two Separate Investigations in Dorchester

ONE LESS GUN: Overnight, officers assigned to the BPD Youth Violence Strike Force placed two suspects in custody on firearm related charges during two investigations in Dorchester.

INCIDENT #1: At about 10:37 PM on Monday May 28, 2018, officers arrested Domenic Davis, 29, of Coconut Creek, Florida, after recovering a loaded .40 caliber Glock model 27 in the area of Milton Avenue and Rockwell Street in Dorchester.

INCIDENT #2: About three hours later, at 1:38 AM on Tuesday May 29, officers arrested Rushon Hemmingway, 21, of Springfield, Massachusetts, after recovering a loaded .40 caliber Glock model 22 in the area of 3 Stockton Street in Dorchester.

Both suspects will appear in Dorchester District Court on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
