Death Investigation in the Area of 277 Centre Street in Jamaica Plain: At about 9:41pm on Friday, May 4, 2018, officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) were on patrol when they heard what sounded like shots fired in the area of 277 Centre Street. Upon hearing the shots, officers immediately and instinctively responded towards the scene of the gunfire. On arrival, officers located two adult males suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to area hospitals for further treatment of their injuries. Both victims, a male believed to be in his fifties and a second male in his twenties, later succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased.
