Daily Dose of Great Police Work: Quick Response Leads to Arrest After Breaking and Entering in East Boston

 

At about 6:15 PM on Sunday, June 11, 2018, officers assigned to District A-7 (East Boston) responded to a radio call for a breaking and entering in progress in the area of 320 Princeton Street in East Boston. While on approach, officers were advised that a male suspect had gained entry to the basement of the residence through a rear window. Officers quickly arrived on scene and observed an individual matching the given description running through the backyard. The officers pursued the suspect and were able to place him in custody as he attempted to scale a fence. Alexis Garcia, 24, of Chelsea, will be charged with Breaking and Entering in East Boston District Court.
