Boston Police Department and MassHousing Partner Together and Introduce a New and Innovative Community Collaborative Model to Boston

The Boston Police Department and MassHousing have partnered together over the past 10 months to strategize, develop and introduce a new and innovative community collaborative model to Boston, known internationally as Community Safety and Well Being (CSWB).

During the week of June 18, 2018, Global Network for Community Safety, a Canadian-based firm of the models architects, will visit Boston to train police officers, community partners, city agencies, non-profits, health organizations and residents, on the theory and framework of the Hub Model of risk driven collaboration and how it relates to Community Safety and Well Being for Boston.

The first meeting was held today, Monday, June 18, 2018 for the local Systems Leaders and sets the stage for the Community Safety and Well Being initiative. Global Network will also provide practical training for direct service providers in Jamaica Plain and East Boston on the implementation of a Hub Table in their neighborhood on Tuesday, June 19th, Wednesday, June 20th, and Thursday, June 21st.
