Daily Dose of Great Police Work: Hyde Park Suspect Arrested in Armed Robbery of a Neighborhood Gas Station


At about 8:15PM on Monday, June 25, 2018, officers assigned to District E-18 (Hyde Park) responded to a call for an armed robbery in progress at the Mobile service station in the area of 264 Neponset Valley Parkway, Hyde Park. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who stated that the suspect entered the Mobile service station armed with a knife, demanded money from the register, and fled the scene toward the area of 272 Neponset Valley Parkway with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was wearing a black mask, which did not fully cover his face, gray gloves and a black jacket. Officers reviewed video surveillance footage of the armed robbery, and the suspect was identified as Fabrizio Quintiliani, 52, of Hyde Park, a person who frequents the store and happened to be there earlier in the day. After further investigation, officers found that Quintiliani lived in the neighborhood, and he was placed under arrest for Armed Robbery. He will be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
