Community Alert: Boston Police Seeking the Public’s Help into Investigation of Fatal Hit and Run Motor Vehicle Crash in Brighton

 

At about 12:50 PM on Wednesday June 6, 2018, officers assigned to District D-14 (Brighton) responded to a call for a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle in the area of 1316 Commonwealth Avenue. On arrival, officers located an adult male victim in his eighties suffering from life threatening injuries who was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The operator of the vehicle involved in the incident did not stop or remain on scene. BPD officers have located the vehicle and are continuing their investigation at this time.

The Boston Police Department is actively seeking the help from any members of the community who were in the area at the time of this incident and may have seen or heard anything that may help with the investigation.
