UPDATE: BPD Investigators Release Images of Motor Vehicle Wanted in Connection to Fatal Motorcycle Accident in the area 141 Bowdoin Street in Dorchester: Detectives assigned to the BPD’s Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision Team are releasing images of a motor vehicle wanted in connection to a motor vehicle collision that claimed the life of a motorcyclist in Dorchester. The vehicle pictured is a silver 2003, Lincoln LS Sedan with a moon roof, MA REG 6TJ698. Please note that the third photo in the above gallery is a file photo. The motor vehicle was last seen on Thursday, July 12, 2018, in the early morning hours in the area of Route 3A in Billerica, MA. On the night of the incident, at about 1:20am, on Sunday, July 8, 2108, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a call for a motor vehicle accident in the in the area of 141 Bowdoin Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located a motorcyclist suffering from what appeared to be life threatening injuries. The victim, a 41-year-old male, was transported to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Investigators assigned to the BPD’s Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision Team are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident and are asking for the public’s help in efforts to locate the motor vehicle seen in the released images.
