BPD in the Community: Good Will and Great Smiles in High Supply at Final Night of National Night Out!!!

BPD IN THE COMMUNITY: National Night Out concluded successfully on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. Enjoy additional photos from night 2, of the two day event, that was created to acknowledge and celebrate the partnerships that exist between the community and the Boston Police Department. Mayor Martin J. Walsh and Police Commissioner William G. Gross traveled to East Boston, Chinatown, South End, North End, South Boston and Dorchester. The Crime Watch award was presented to a group of dog owners in the North End — and their dogs! The final stop of the night concluded with gifts of T-shirts to the mothers of Mayor Walsh and Commissioner Gross from the "Older and Bolder" drumming group in Dorchester.

We wholeheartedly thank community members and Neighborhood Watch Groups for their continued help and support of the men and women of the Boston Police Department, it is greatly appreciated. Together we make our community safer!!!
