UPDATE: Victim Identified in Death Investigation at 26 Torrey Street in Dorchester: At about 11:45 PM, on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, officers from District B-3 (Dorchester/Mattapan) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 26 Torrey Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located a male victim, believed to be in his twenties, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was later pronounced deceased and has since been identified as Trevis Catron, 23, of Dorchester.
The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
