BPD Officers Arrest Juvenile Suspect Wanted in Connection to Assault & Battery at the Washington Irving Middle School in Roslindale: At about 9:20am, on Thursday, September 13, 2018, officers assigned to the BPD’s School Police Unit responded to a call for a stabbing at the Washington Irving Middle School at 105 Cummins Hwy in Roslindale. On arrival, officers located and spoke to the victim, a 13-year-old male, who stated that he had been stabbed during an altercation with a fellow student. After being treated on scene by the school nurse, the victim was transported to an area hospital for further evaluation of his non-life threatening injuries. A search of the immediate area enabled officers to locate and apprehend the other juvenile involved in the altercation. Once located, officers arrested a 14-year-old juvenile male and charged him with Assault & Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
