One Less Gun: Search Warrant Allows Officers to Recover Illegal Firearms and Drugs in Dorchester

At about 10:30 AM, on Friday, September 28, 2018, members of the District B-2 Drug Control Unit (Roxbury), executed a search warrant in the area of 49 Monadnock Street, Dorchester.  After locating the target of the search warrant, Tony Burt, 52 of Dorchester, officers were able to recover a loaded silver Ruger SP101 .38 revolver, a safe containing scales, bagging materials, razor’s, boxes of baggies and a large amount of US Currency. 

While officers were conducting a further search of the residence, a male identified as Brett Parham, 41 of Dorchester, entered the front door of the residence but upon seeing the officers, he attempted to flee the scene and was quickly apprehended. Recovered from Parham was Benelli Armi 9mm, various loose pills, plastic baggies containing pills, and a large amount of US Currency.

Tony Burt was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A, Drugs, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B, Drugs. 

Brett Parham was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs, and Possession of Class E, Drugs. 

Both Burt and Parham will be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
