At about 3:22am, on Sunday, March 28, 2010, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for shots fired and, possibly, a person shot in the area of 69 Maywood Street. On arrival, officers located two victims (a 17 year-old male and a 20 year-old female) suffering from what appeared to gunshot wounds. The 17 year-old male, found inside the location, was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he later succumbed to injuries and was pronounced. The 20 year-old female, found outside the location, was transported to the Boston Medical Center where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
