Police Arrest Three Juveniles for Armed Robbery of a Food Delivery Driver in Dorchester

At about 10:45 p.m. officers from District B-3(Mattapan) responded to an attempted robbery of a delivery driver at 32 Ellington Street. 

Upon arrival officers met  a male victim at the intersection of Erie Street and Michigan Avenue. The victim stated he received a request for delivery and was told by the caller to “bring change for $100.00”.  The victim expressed concern that he might be robbed and contacted the caller when he arrived at the location.   At the same time the victim observed a male walk from the side of the house,  seconds later a second male walked from the same side of the property with a black firearm in his hand, accompanied by a third male.  The victim stated he was in fear of an imminent robbery, fled from Ellington Street and called 911. 

Officers were still on scene interviewing the victim on Erie Street when three males matching the victim’s descriptions of the suspects, walked from Michigan Avenue onto Erie Street.  The victim was able to positively identify all three as the suspects who had attempted to rob him. 

Police arrested the three 15 year old male juveniles, from Dorchester and charged them with Delinquent to wit: Armed Robbery. They are expected to appear in Dorchester Juvenile Court today.  No firearm was recovered but a phone was seized as evidence.
