At about 9:30 AM, Thursday, December 19, 2013, officers from the Boston School Police and District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call in the area of 205 Roxbury Street (The Timilty School) in Roxbury.
On arrival, officers were notified that a Boston Public Schools staff member intercepted a note alleged to be a communication among a group of students at the Middle School.
Contrary to early reports, officers determined that there was no evidence of a sexual assault.
The Boston Public Schools will notify parents regarding the contents of the note which is alleged to have contained inappropriate language.
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call District B-2 (Roxbury) detectives at 617-343-4275.
