Boston Police Investigate Stabbing in the South End


At about 12:01am, on Monday, December 23, 2013, officers from District D-4 (South End) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed at 57 Hemenway Street.

On arrival, officers observed the male victim, in his 20s suffering what appeared to be a stab wound to his elbow.  The victim stated to officers the suspect followed him while he was walking in the area of Belvedere Street.  The victim stated the suspect asked the victim if he had and any money and when the victim declined, the suspect began to assault and stab the victim.  The victim reported to officers an undisclosed amount of money was taken from him along with personal documents.

The victim suffering from non-life threatening injuries was transported to Brigham and Woman’s Hospital.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call District D-4 (South End) detectives at 617-343-5619.
