Daily Dose of Great Police Work: BPD Arrest One for Assault & Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon in the area of 95 Hammond St.


At about 2:30 AM, Thursday, December 26, 2013, officers from District D-4 (South End) responded to a radio call for a Stabbing in the area of 95 Hammond Street in Roxbury.

On arrival, officers spoke with Northeastern Public Safety Officers who were already on scene and had a male suspect detained for questioning. Officers spoke with several witnesses who stated that the male suspect and the victim were involved in a physical altercation. During the altercation, witnesses say the suspect stabbed the victim. The victim, suffering from a non-life threatening injury, was transported to a local hospital. Officers recovered a knife at the scene.

Arrested was Adbiel Reyes, 19, of Roslindale. Reyes is charged with Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon – Knife.
