Police Investigate Shooting in the Area of Devon Street and Vaughan Avenue in Dorchester


At about 1:57 PM, Monday, June 17, 2013, officers from district C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for Persons Shot in the area of Devon Street and Vaughan Avenue, Dorchester.

On arrival, officers found a male victim, approximately in his early 20′s and a female victim, approximately in her early 20′s, in a motor vehicle. Both were suffering from apparent gun shot wounds. Officers also found an infant female child in the back seat. The child was not injured.

The female victim was transported to Boston Medical Center and and the male victim was transported to Brigham Women’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The infant was taken to Boston Medical Center Pediatric as a precaution.

Boston Police are searching for a motor vehicle in connection with the incident. The vehicle is described as a medium blue Chevrolet.
