Police Investigate Person Stabbed in the area of Dracut Street


At about 2:17 AM, Saturday, July 13, 2013, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a Robbery in Progress in the area of 31 Dracut Street Dorchester

On arrival, victim stated that she was walking to her boyfriend house while talking to him on her cell phone. The victim said she was followed by an unknown male suspect from Dorchester Avenue to Dracut Street then approached her while holding a knife in her direction and stated, “Yo run your pockets.” The victim refused to give up her property then the suspect stabbed her.

Officers observed two small puncture wounds to the victim’s upper left arm area. The victim who was 6 months pregnant was transported to Boston Medical Center for non life threatening injuries. The suspect is described as a black male, 5’02, a “young face”, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt with the hood over his head, and blue jeans.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call District C-11 (Dorchester) detectives at 617-343-4335.
