Police Investigate a Person Shot in the area of 274 Centre Street


At about 9:08 PM, Monday, July 29th 2013, officers from district E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for a Person Shot in the area of 274 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain.

On arrival, officers located male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital. The suspect is described as a light skin Hispanic male, early 20’s, 5’9, wearing a black hat, white tank top, blue jeans. The victim, in his late 20’s is currently in stable condition.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) detectives at 617-343-5628.
