Police Investigate Person Shot in the area of 72 Walnut Park


At about 5:10 AM, Monday, July 29th 2013, officers from district E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for a Person Shot in the area of 72 Walnut Park Roxbury.

On arrival, officers located victim at Brigham and Women’s Hospital self-applied. The victim was suffering from an apparent gun shot wound and stated he had been pistol whipped in the face.

Suspect #1 is described as a light skin male with blonde braids, 5’8, 150 lbs, medium build, white t-shirt, blue shorts, Suspect #2 is described as a dark skin male, 5’8, 170 lbs, wearing a white baseball cap with black letters, blue t-shirt and jeans. The victim, in his mid 20’s, is currently in stable condition.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) detectives at 617-343-5628.
