Boston Police Investigate Shooting in the area of 640 Morton Street, Mattapan


At about 12:48 AM, Saturday, August 17th 2013, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 640 Morton Street, Mattapan.

On arrival, officers located the male victim, in his twenties, outside suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.  The victim was transported to the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and is listed in critical condition. 

The District B-3 detectives are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (617) 343-4712.
