Boston Police Investigate Shooting on Elm Hill Avenue


At about 1:01pm, on Saturday, September 14, 2013, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of Elm Hill Avenue and Homestead and Cheney Streets, 

On arrival, at 71 Elm Hill Avenue officers found a male victim suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his left foot.  The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. 

While on scene, officers located a second shooting victim at Cheney Street and Montana Street.  The female victim was transported to Boston Medical Center with non life threatening injuries. 

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call District B-2 (Roxbury) detectives at 617-343-4275.
