Police Investigate Person Shot in the area of 27 Corona Street Dorchester


At about 11:20 AM Wednesday September 25, 2013, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a Person Shot in the area of 27 Corona St., Dorchester.

On arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he had been shot in his leg by an unknown suspect. Officers spoke to witnesses who stated they heard a gunshot, but did not see who shot the victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call District C-11 (Dorchester) detectives at 617-343-4335.
