Boston Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Collision in Dorchester


At about, 1:23am, on Friday, September 06, 2013, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle in the area of 105 American Legion Highway, Dorchester.

On arrival, officers observed the male victim outside suffering from what appeared to be life threatening injuries.  Officers also observed a damaged motorcycle a short distance from the victim. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to call detectives at (617) 343-4470.
