At about 11:48 am, on Monday, March 31, 2014, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to an outside scene for a person shot in the area of 17-A Smith Street. On arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, suffering from life-threatening injuries, was transported to Brigham & Women's Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
