Chief Gross and Superintendent Halstead Host Ellis Elementary School's 10 Boys Initiative

On Thursday, June 5th, 2014, Superintendent-In-Chief William G. Gross,  Superintendent Randall Halstead, and BPD Headquarters hosted a visit from the 10 Boys Initiative. This program was designed to increase the number of primarily Black and Latino males reaching proficiency by identifying ten or more young men and working with them in an effort to improve their skills, attitudes, and achievements. Some of these young men are entering the 5th grade while others are graduating from the Ellis Elementary School. The young men participating in this program impressed all who had the pleasure of meeting them with how much they have learned.
