Boston Police Seeking Public's Help in Efforts to Identify Witnesses and Obtain Smart Phone Footage of an Incident in the Downtown Area


At about 1:59 AM on Sunday, July 12, 2014, officers from District A-1 (Downtown) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed in the area of Chatham Street and Commercial Street in the Downtown area. 

On arrival, officers observed a male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in locating witnesses as well as obtaining any smart phone footage that may have been taken of the incident.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call District A-1 (Downtown) detectives at 617-343-4248.
