Cops for Kids With Cancer Continues Fighting the Good Fight!!!

This past week, Police Commissioner William Evans gladly joined former Boston Police Superintendent-in-Chief Robert Faherty, who is the current chairman of Cops for Kids with Cancer, as he presented members of Tufts New England Medical Center’s Pediatric Oncology Department with a donation for all the meaningful work they do in their ongoing, never-ending efforts to combat one of the world’s deadliest diseases. Today's presentation - which was held at the Boston Police Harbor Patrol Unit - comes two weeks after a similar donation was made to Mass General Hospital. Said Faherty, "Today’s donation is a small token of the appreciation we feel for the folks at Tufts New England Medical Center and the tremendous work they do. If you’re looking for heroes, look no further than the Pediatric Oncology department at Tufts New England Medical Center.” In addition to staff members, several patients and their families enjoyed a ride around the Boston Harbor courtesy of Boston’s Finest.
