One Less Gun: Suspect From December Convenience Store Robbery Charged, Evidence Recovered, Three Arrested and Rifle Seized After Search Warrant in Dorchester


As part of an active investigation, officers assigned to the Area C-11 Drug Control Unit along with Area C-11 Detectives, arrested 37-year-old Ameen Lacy of Dorchester charging him with the December 23, 2014 armed robbery of the Tedeschi Market located at 187 E Cottage Street, Dorchester.  During that incident two suspects entered the store, displayed a black handgun and demanded money from the clerk. After the incident, a Wanted Poster was circulated depicting an image of the suspects that was captured on surveillance video. Investigators received information on the identity of the suspect and applied for and were granted a search warrant for a residence at 87 Coleman Street, Dorchester.  On January 14, 2015, investigators executed the warrant with the assistance of the Boston Police SWAT Team. Inside the residence officers located Lacy and 31-year-old Lisette Germosen of Dorchester hiding in a bathroom.  Also inside the apartment was 35-year-old Dennis Taylor of Dorchester. During the subsequent search of the premises, Investigators recovered evidence linking Lacey to the December robbery including clothing, and a black replica handgun. Also recovered during the search was a Black .22 caliber rifle and drugs. All three occupants were arrested and charged as follows:

Ameen Lacy: Armed Robbery, Being in Company of Person in Possession of Heroin, (Lacy was also wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for Receiving Stolen Goods and Operating After Suspension)

Dennis Taylor: Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A Drugs/School Zone, Operating After Suspension

Lisette Germosen: Being in Company of Person in Possession of Heroin, (Garmosen also was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for trespassing)
