UPDATE: Boston Police Arrest Three in Relation to Death Investigation in the area of 1620 Tremont Street, Roxbury

On Wednesday, September 16, 2015, officers responded to the parking lot of 1620 Tremont Street. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim, 23-year-old Luis Bodden-Maximo of Boston, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim later succumbed to his injuries at a Boston area hospital.

As a result of a diligent ongoing investigation by members of the BPD Homicide Unit and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, detectives and investigators established that 21-year-old Jerome Meade, 24-year-old Lee Gill, and 19-year-old Javier Smith, all of Boston, collaborated to murder Luis Bodden-Maximo. By meticulously gathering physical and forensic evidence, investigators established a strong case against these three suspects that resulted in their warrant arrests yesterday, Thursday, October 16, 2015—merely a month after the original incident. The suspects will be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.

“The investigators worked around the clock to close this case in less than a month,” said Police Commissioner William Evans. “In addition to the two cold cases solved earlier this week, Homicide detectives and prosecutors of the District Attorney’s Office have cleared yet another homicide today, and they should be commended for their hard work and their dedication to each and every case.”
