Media Availability: Boston Police Foundation to Donate Funds Earmarked for the Boston Police Teen Academy and Officers Safeguarding the Boston Marathon

WHO: The Boston Police Foundation, Superintendent Lisa Holmes, Boston Police Academy Instructors and invited guests.

WHAT: On Thursday, April 16, 2015, the Boston Police Foundation will be presenting checks and donating funds to the Boston Police Teen Academy, a two week summer program designed to enhance and grow the relationship that exists between our city’s young people and those sworn to protect and serve them. In addition to the above, the Boston Police Foundation will also be making a check presentation and donation earmarked for food, water and nourishment to be provided and distributed to officers deployed along the race route during the Boston Marathon.
