Community Alert: The BPD is Seeking the Public’s Help in Identifying Two Suspects Wanted in Connection to a Residential Breaking and Entering in Dorchester

The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the two suspects pictured above in connection to a recent residential breaking and entering in Dorchester. Suspect #1 is described as a black male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jeans, black sneakers, a white winter hat with black ear flaps and carrying a black and blue backpack. Suspect #2 is described as a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black sneakers, a black winter hat and carrying a black backpack. 

At about 9:05 AM on Thursday, March 23, 2017, the two suspects broke into an unoccupied residence located at 151 Columbia Road in Dorchester. Suspect #1 was armed with a firearm at the time of the incident and used a pry bar to gain entry through a rear door. At about 9:21 AM, both suspects were observed fleeing the area on foot, with Suspect #2 carrying a digital metal safe approximately 12” by 12” in size. 

The Boston Police Department continues to review the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with any information, albeit large or small, is strongly urged to contact detectives assigned to District C-11 in Dorchester at (617) 343-4335.
