BPD in the Community: Hi-5-Friday stops by the Dennis Haley School in Roslindale

Hi-5-Friday stops by the Dennis Haley School in Roslindale: Earlier this morning, Friday, October 12, 2018, smiles and hi-5’s were in high supply at the Haley School in Roslindale as Boston Police Officers were there to greet students arriving to school. Not sure who had more fun, but, our officers certainly had a wonderful time connecting with the kids!!! Said one of the officers, “It’s so important for the kids to interact with us in a fun, friendly environment. Keeping kids safe is one of our most important priorities and giving them hi-5’s as they arrive to school is a great way for us send the message that says when kids see police officers, we want them to see people who care about keeping them safe.”
