BPD Photo of the Day: Mass Association of Minority Law Enforcement Officers Celebrates its 50th Anniversary

MAMLEO: On Friday, October 19, 2018, MAMLEO (Massachusetts Association of Minority Law Enforcement Officers) celebrated its 50th anniversary in a ceremony honoring exceptional police work accomplished this year. For over a half of century, MAMLEO has worked hard to advance and advocate for the recruitment, hiring and career advancement of minority candidates and officers dedicated to protecting and serving their communities. In attendance were Governor Charlie Baker, Mayor Martin Walsh, Police Commissioner William Gross, and numerous award recipients including Members of the Command Staff, and officers assigned to District A-7 (East Boston). The men and women of the Boston Police Department are proud to be included and look forward to another 50 years!
