Traffic and Parking Restrictions to Take Effect for 2018 World Series Celebration Rally

Traffic and Parking Restrictions for the 2018 World Series Celebration Rally: On Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM, the City of Boston will be home to the 2018 Red Sox World Series Celebration Rally. To ensure the safety and security of fans, traffic and parking restrictions will take effect on Tuesday and will remain in effect until the end of Wednesday. Those attending are expected to behave responsibly and show respect to both people and property in our city. Please note, however, modifications to these restrictions may be made by the Boston Police Department at any time.

The parade route will be as follows: Lansdowne Street, right onto Ipswich Street, left onto Boylston Street, left onto Tremont Street, continuing onto Cambridge Street, right onto Staniford Street where it will end.

The traffic restrictions below are expected to take effect at approximately 9:00 AM on Wednesday and will remain in effect until the conclusion of the rally.

  • Both sides, from Ipswich Street to Kilmarnock Street

Jersey Street

  • Both sides, from Boylston Street to Brookline Avenue

Ipswich Street

  • Both sides, from Charlesgate East heading towards Fenway Park to Boylston Street (near CVS)

The parking restrictions below will start at 12 AM on Wednesday and be in effect until Wednesday at 11:59 PM. Enforcement is scheduled to begins at 12:01 AM on Wednesday
