Daily Dose of Great Police Work: Seven Arrested for Trespassing Downtown

At about 9:26 PM on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) made an on-site trespassing arrest of seven males in the area of 40 Winter Street, Downtown. Due to recent incidents of fights, armed robberies, and reports of a large group dealing drugs, officers were on directed patrol in the area. Officers observed a group of males crowding the doorway of a retail shop, ignoring posted signs for loitering. When officers approached, several of the males attempted to flee the area. Officers notified the males that they were under arrest for trespassing. At this time, two of the males became aggressive and began to fight with officers. Officers were eventually able to place all of the individuals under arrest.

Officers arrested Amable Cedeno, 23-years-old of Dorchester, Jonathan Lauriston, 19-years-old of Boston, Sanders Volcy, 23-years-old of Boston, Angello Vernet, 28-years-old of Randolph, Kervins Baptiste, 23-years-old of Lynn, Alex Philogene, 22-years-old of Boston, Makerven Lynch, 29-years-old of Medford.
