At about 10:47 PM on Thursday May 30, 2019, officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a call for a person stabbed in the area of 19 Tremlett Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located an adult male victim inside the residence suffering from a stab wound. The victim, suffering life threatening injuries, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim has since been identified as Richard Frank Jr., 47, of Dorchester.
The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
