Death Investigation in the area of 6 Hoffman Street in Jamaica Plain 

 

DEATH INVESTIGATION: At about 1:14 AM, on Thursday, November 22, 2018 officers assigned to District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for shots fired in the area of Chestnut Avenue and Hoffman Street in Jamaica Plain. On arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from apparent life threatening gunshot wounds. The male victim was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. 

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
