One Under Arrest Following Stabbing in Mattapan

 

At about 12:27 AM on Monday, December 24, 2018 officers assigned to District B-3 (Mattpan) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed in the area of 760 Cummins Highway. On arrival, officers located an adult male victim who was suffering from an apparent stab wound. The victim stated he was approached by a male known to him who confronted the victim before punching him and chasing him into an alleyway. The victim stated the suspect stabbed him while inside of the alleyway and then chased the victim to the above area where he called police. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers located the male suspect and placed him under arrest.

Officers arrested Herbert Bousseau, 43-years-old, of Hyde Park. Bousseau is charged with Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon and is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
