One Less Gun: BPD Officers Make Arrest and Recover Firearm After Responding to Non-Fatal Double Shooting in Roxbury


At about 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for two people shot in the area of 131 Eustis Street in Roxbury. On arrival, officers were directed inside the address where they located a male in his fifties and a female in her thirties suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers also located a third individual inside the residence, later identified as, Glen Leshore, 54, of Roxbury, holding a black revolver in his hand. Officers ordered the suspect to drop the weapon at which time they were able to safely recover the weapon and place the suspect in custody without incident. Both victims were transported to area hospitals for injuries which are non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect will appear in Roxbury District Court on charges of Assault with Intent to Murder, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Discharging a Firearm within 500 Feet of a Dwelling and Armed Career Criminal.
