At about 5:36 PM on Saturday, April 7, 2018, officers assigned to District E-18 (Hyde Park) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 38 Frazer Street in Hyde Park. On arrival, officers located a male victim in his late twenties suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim, suffering life threatening injuries, was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim has since been identified as Geraldo Lerouge, 27, of Hyde Park.
