RUN TO REMEMBER: Boston’s 15th Annual Run to Remember Road Race Honoring First Responders Killed in the Line of Duty Set to Kick Off This Sunday: The Boston Police Runner’s Club is gearing up for the 15th Annual Run to Remember Road Race taking place this Sunday, May 26, 2019, in Boston’s Seaport District. The Run to Remember, one of the region’s biggest and most popular half marathons, which runs through historic downtown Boston was created in 2004 by Cecil Jones, a Boston Police Sergeant Detective, with a primary goal of honoring and remembering the service and sacrifice of first responders, be it police, fire or EMS personnel, killed in the line of duty while protecting and serving citizens in communities all across the country.
